You're driving me CRAZY!

Today I took Ethan to his speech class. I dropped him off at his class and then I usually walk over to mom and dad's. When I got to dad's we went out and sat on the back porch. It is beautiful in Florida today by the way. Anyway I was telling him that Ethan really wanted to come over after his class, to see Papa, but that I had a meeting to be at right after his speech class. We were laughing, talking about some of the things that the boys say. As we were talking I remembered what Ethan and I talked about last night. This is how our conversation went...

E: "Mom what does 'You're driving me crazy' mean".
S: "It means that someone or something is frustrating or aggravating you".
E: "So if Ryan is taking my toys I can say 'You're driving me crazy'".
S: "Well it is nicer if you say you're aggravating me, or frustrating me".
E: "Or 'You're driving me crazy'".
S: (frustrated) "Yes, Ethan..."

I could tell that he wasn't going to let this one go. And I could tell that mommy probably should use "frustrating" or "aggravating" more often than the other option...
Isn't it funny how our little ones really give us a check on the things that come out of our mouth.

Dad and I had a good laugh over it anyway.

T.J. Update

I just got off the phone with T.J.!!! He was calling to talk to the boys, unfortunately they where both asleep. I tried waking up Ethan with no luck. He sounds like he is doing very well. He sounds so excited!!! Which is good for big sister to hear! Thank you all for your prayers for him. He only has 2 weeks left then he will be home for 10 days! It was just so nice to hear his voice. Keep him in your prayers.

Yes...Me baby too!

My little Ryan is in such a sweet stage right now. I'm guessing he is getting it from being around Cayden. With potty training I have said before "Ryan you are not a baby, Cayden wears diapers, not you." And he says, "Yes, me baby too!".

Yes it backfired on me...

He also likes to get into Cayden's toys, like the swing and such. Today I walked into the livingroom and found this...











I had to laugh. It is so sweet. He gave me a big smile too!




He is so sweet to Cayden all the time. I guess he just wants Mommy to know who her baby is... All three of them will always be my babies, even when they are twenty. In the mean time I will eat up every snuggle he gives because... "he's the baby too!"

For My Birthday...

DeWayne and the boys made my day so very special. We did everything I wanted to do...spend time with my family. For lunch we went to Olive Garden with my sister. Then that evening we went to Downtown Disney. We had such a good time. Ethan said "Is this Disney World?" For a split second I thougth "Hmmm... I might be on to something" Then of course I said "No sweetie". I really wanted to say yes. How much cheaper it would be!

Anyway, we visited the LEGO store....




This was so neat... They had so many different statues made out of LEGOS. Here the boys are in front of a shark, fish, and crab.


And Ethan and Ryan where sooooo excited to find Buzz Lightyear! We had to get a picture!


And of course found a candy store... Goofy's candy store...


We also got to ride a little boat along the way!



What a wonderful birthday I had! I am a very blessed 28 year old woman!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

Today I am writing from my new Valentine's/Birthday present... a new laptop!!! I am so excited about it! My wonderful husband also had Verizon come and hook up fios too! I was so totally surprised! I will now be able to work faster on the computer and work from anywhere! I am a very lucky woman! My hubby did so good this year! He does every year! I will update with pictures later!

Sea World

Just wanted to share a few pictures from our trip to Sea World for Ethan's birthday. We had such a great time. I really enjoyed myself, watching the boys' face in awe of the beautiful animals before them, seeing the delight in my parent's eyes as they spent this special time with them, and being blessed, yet again, by the Lord, in the husband that he has sent me. DeWayne stops everything to enjoy the little things with the boys. He is an amazing daddy! We just enjoyed a great day!

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Today, just a few minutes ago, at 10:14pm, my little man turned 5 years old! I just can't believe how fast the time has flown. Every year at the time they were born I take a picture of them with their "sign". For Ethan it is usually in his p.j.'s, but he informed me a while back that big boys sleep in their undies. : )

I can't believe he is 5! Then we looked through his baby book. He is amazing! I am just so proud of the little boy that he is. God has blessed us beyond our imaginations over these last 5 years. Just having him here means more than words can say. I am so proud to be his mommy!
